Aloor Ganga Reddy was an agriculturalist. First in 1981 he contested in sarpanch elections .Then he became the sarpanch of Aloor. He was the sarpanch of aloor from 1981 to 1987. As the sarpanch he brought water pipe lines and constructed houses for the shelter less. In between his leadership as the sarpanch he became the single window president in 1985 and continued till 1990. In 1989 TDP had recognized the potential in him and had given him the M.L.A ticket. From 1989 to 1994 he was the nizamabad district president from TDP. Then he became the Andhra Pradesh state corporation director (1994-1996). He was the balconda incharge from 1996-1999.
He again in 1999 contested as M.L.A from TDP. He joined TRS in 2001. He was the state secretary from 2007-2009. In 2010 he again became the nizamabad district president from TRS. Now he has joined BJP and is a member of state executive committe.
